Sorry babe, not ready to invest in chip flashers. Maybe if kits get released (see FAQs) for the mini minty mp3 players, I might go for that...

Come on, be nice to the software person. I don't know what chip flashers are. I just know that it involves Altoids, music, and soldering. Sounds right up your alley. =D

Hey, I should show that to A. - he loves Altoids and as a result we have quite a number of empty little tin boxes sitting around (Ginger and Liquorice flavours, mostly). This would be something to actually do with them.
