Back from Iowa. Voting took all of fifteen minutes.

The drive there took five hours, but the drive back took seven because I stopped to nap twice. Between 7:30 and 2:30, I think I heard three, maybe four NPR anchors run out of steam. Fucking hell.

They don't ask for it in Illinois, either - just check to see if your signature matches. I was really tired, so my signature actually deviated slightly. No problem regardless.

It was nice to be able to vote without having my ID squinnied at, but slightly unnerving. (I did bring ID, just for the principle of the thing, though I already knew it wouldn't be asked for).
