Today, Alex oniugnip and I took Snippets out of alpha! That's a fancy way of saying that we finally announced it to people we don't know personally! Served hot off the CGI server.
It's intended mostly for grad students in the SoIC, since there are a lot of us and we're spread across a bunch of buildings and a bunch of degree programs and, well, (a) who are all these people, (b) what do they all do all day, and (c) how are you supposed to find the other three people on campus who are working on (for instance) genetic programming? But it's available to anyone with an IU network ID, so if you've got one of those, I would love to see your updates, regardless of whether you're in the SoIC. If you don't have an IU network ID, sorry; restricting it this way allows us to avoid some thorny authentication and privacy issues. I still probably want to know what you do all day; we'll just have to find some other way of communicating about it.
