After a trip to the Temple of Techno-Consumerism, aka Best Buy

I finally replaced my blown-out network card, so now I have Internet access in some place besides the lab at work, and rockstargirl.org is finally crawling back to its feet. I'm no longer hosting it myself, though. Lightnin', the Little HTTP Server that Could, is retired until further notice -- mostly because I can host rockstargirl.org from the same place we're using for charterag.com. I've never done this whole paying-for-hosting thing before, and I can't believe how luxurious it is. They take care of us. Yeah, I've gone soft, I guess.

My co-workers are a very smart, fun, closely-knit group. We work hard all week, then party all weekend. It's kind of like school. And, like school, we already have a bunch of ridiculous inside jokes. If you want to know what my job looks like, here are photos from the week I spent at Lake Forest, and the first and second weeks at Northwestern. Also, coming soon: the SECRET WEBSHOTS!
