You know, National Road Running Month. Lots of folks are doing it! oniugnip...me...oniugnip's co-worker...uh...me...
I started small today, with just a 2.6-mile run. I took Adore out with me. I can't believe I've been listening to that album for almost ten years. It may have been the peak of Billy Corgan's credibility; the ten years I've been listening to it have been coincident with a ten-year decline in same. (I don't think that's a causal relationship.) Isn't "Pug" a sexy song?
It's also NaBloPoMo, where they're encouraging posting on a theme this year. I figure that if I plan to just write about the run I did every day, then I can't fail at either. 100% success rate, so far.
You know what month really needs stuff like this? March.
November already has a kickass holiday, and is buttressed on all sides by kickass holidays.
March is a long and ugly month, far removed from joy, merriment, or diversion. It's been winter forever. February has a second tier "retail" holiday, and your next day off isn't coming until May.
I'm so glad you're here.
Where have you been all my life?
It's funny how everyone acts like this has never happened before.
The dead of winter's dead.
Still frozen in my bed...
Actually, my birthday is in March, which makes it the most awesome month of the year.
