Google Calendar: now with piece-of-paper-taped-to-wall functionality!

Five months ago, I wondered why it was so hard to have a web page with a calendar on it. After looking around online yesterday for a free, public iCal web viewer and still not being able to find a decent one, I went back to check if Google Calendar had implemented what I was looking for yet. Turns out they had.

So, check it out: what I was supposed to do, and what I actually did. Beautiful. (You can even do some query string voodoo to get both calendars on the same page. Unfortunately, all the events are the same color.)

Sweet! A way for people to look at calendars without having to log in anywhere, and without having to fire up a third-party iCal viewer. I can think of all kinds of ways we can use this.
