Entropy. It's what's for dinner.

Over the weekend I went for a run for the first time in probably a month. It was only four miles or so, but it was really great. Running makes me feel so much healthier and prettier and on top of things. Why don't I do it more often?

Thursday, J-J and I went dancing at Neo with a couple of his friends. We'd been there before, but this was pretty much the first time I'd been out on a weeknight since starting my job. (I don't know why I don't do that more often, either. You don't get to sleep in the next day -- big deal. You probably sleep better in the five hours you do get.) It was so. great. We danced for hours. Then we were going to leave, but Bowie came on and I had to stay and dance, and then Roxy Music came on and he had to stay and dance.

I don't know why it should be so unusual that a club plays music that people actually want to listen to for listening's own sake and dance to for dancing's own sake. Then the people who go are actually interested in dancing, and not just in, as J-J puts it, the meat market. (Don't get me wrong -- I like that part too, but it's no fun when you have no energy for it because all your energy is being consumed by trying to act like you want to be there.) I guess that's what always sucked about Harris, and why the Electro-Melodica one-off was so much fun.
