To the Oregon Food Bank: Two (2) hours of volunteer time, to make up for the not only one, but now two Saturdays in a row that I have been comically late for my shift.
To my roommate Justin: Five (5) beautiful chapbooks of poetry written by friends of his, to be returned in the same condition in which they were lent to me last night when he knocked on my door and handed them to me, saying, "I wanted to make sure to give you a chance to read these before you left."
To Chris underwhelm: One (1) sincere expression of gratitude for his wonderful pizza-dough recipe, which met with unanimous approval from Indigo indy1725, Willow, and me last night.
To Paul stereotype441: One security deposit and one month's rent.
I tried making breadsticks out of it yesterday, and they turned out okay, although a bit dry. Maybe if I try kneading the parmesan directly into the dough, like in this recipe, instead of just sprinkling it on top.
I just skipped over to stereotype441's LJ, and given that one of the first images of him is him displaying the scarf he has knitted, and that shortly thereafter (or therebefore?) he writes that it is awesome to have cool people over doing a coding party... Given these things, I officially approve of the move.
