Today I had the crazy idea of going for an early morning run. It was really cold and windy, and I had to hurry through stretching and taking a shower, but when I dashed into my nine o'clock just barely on time, my professor said, "How was your run this morning?" He had seen me out running on his way into the office. I don't know why, but that made it worth it.
I've now been running for two and a half weeks, for a cumulative total of 35 miles. I'm starting to see the subtle changes in my body. Where the muscles in my legs were kind of mushy before, now they're kind of firm. Where they were kind of firm, now they're firmer. And I could be wrong, but when I looked in the mirror the other day, I think I might have seen the slightest hint of a muscle in my arm. That's pretty cool.
I still haven't lost weight. I'd like to think that, although I weigh the same, more of it is muscle now. It's hard to say.
Ooh, and I got my first four-point support request. You can get up to ten, but mine are usually one or two, so, yeah, w00t and stuff.
