I'm not usually a big fan of diagrams that tell me what to eat, but I dig on this Healing Foods Pyramid. Water underlies everything. Fruits and veggies are the most important foods. Seasonings are considered essential, as well they should be. And tea, dark chocolate, and alcohol (in moderation) get special mention.

Don't underestimate the importance of the blank space at the top. I am reminded of a time when I was sick and meterbridge recommended cookies. When I said that I should probably eat something "healthy" instead, he objected vehemently, saying, "Sometimes, chocolate-chip cookies are better for you than anything else you could possibly eat." I took him at his word, ate cookies, and felt better. Insert your own healing food here.

I gave up eating a birthday cake every three days for Lent and I feel like I have more energy. The high-pitched whine coming from my pancreas also seems to have stopped.

That being said, I don't know if it's possible to eat as many servings of fruits and vegetables as most food experts recommend, so seeing that this allows you to find your own "magic number" while providing a good guideline is neat. I must drink 8 cups of assorted tea a day. If I could, I'd dip it like snuff.

Me too, since I started working from home. And a "cup" isn't the unit of measure, it's the Cafe Du Monde mug that meterbridge gave me, so more like 1.5 C. I feel much healthier for it.
