I'm not usually a big fan of diagrams that tell me what to eat, but I dig on this Healing Foods Pyramid. Water underlies everything. Fruits and veggies are the most important foods. Seasonings are considered essential, as well they should be. And tea, dark chocolate, and alcohol (in moderation) get special mention.
Don't underestimate the importance of the blank space at the top. I am reminded of a time when I was sick and meterbridge recommended cookies. When I said that I should probably eat something "healthy" instead, he objected vehemently, saying, "Sometimes, chocolate-chip cookies are better for you than anything else you could possibly eat."
