Signs that one has been working too much, #5934: [Feb. 24th, 2006|05:30 am]
Lindsey Kuper

When a car honks outside one's house at five a.m., and in one's half-awake, half-dreaming stupor, one thinks, "Oh, there must be a new Basecamp 'feature' wherein they have someone drive by to honk at you whenever you have late milestones."

Not like this has ever happened to me. Or anything.

Heh. royhuggins called me tonight and said, "This is your Basecamp alert message, informing you that you have uncompleted milestones." I started swearing at him. It was fun.

The other day underwhelm was trying to wake me from a nap and in my stupor I said, "Ok, just a minute while I relog this call."

Oh, nice. A-plus.

Once, my roommate was trying to get her boyfriend to roll over and he said, "I'll do it when I'm dead."

This is somehow analogous to me mumbling "Stand by" to my dog early in the morning.
