These 3.7 miles took nearly exactly the 50:36 of Passive Aggressive, a Flux a.d. album which, so far as I can tell, has pretty much vanished. So has the band, for that matter, but bands are supposed to come and go. Albums are supposed to remain. It makes me sad. How's anyone supposed to make their work last? I mean, sure, these songs are mostly surface, but what if they weren't? Besides, sometimes I like surface.
I'm wary about going much further than this. It's one thing to go on a long run when you know you can take the next day off, but if you're going to be running the day after that and the day after that and the day after that, it's a little scary. Not taking breaks increases one's risk of injury. So I figure I can ameliorate the risk by making each run not especially long.
Having said that, oniugnip doesn't seem to have any problem with doing seven-mile runs this month! But, then again, he works for Google and should therefore be held to a higher standard as a person!
