I'll be spending most of the day on a plane to New York tomorrow, but when I get there, some co-workers are taking me out to A Voce for dinner. On Tuesday night, Joe and J.P. and I are getting together for musicking. And on Wednesday night, Eddie eachcomingnight and Rosemary purebugbeauty are making me dinner at their place in Brooklyn. So basically, except for the day-on-a-plane part, this four-day trip is going to fully rock. Last time I was there I didn't really have time to do anything but work, so this is probably going to feel like a vacation.
On Thursday night, Sarah Bunting is doing a reading from her new Television Without Pity book. I reserved four seats before I found out that I can't go, because my flight back to Portland is leaving too soon! Curses! I'd change my flight just to go to this reading, if it weren't for the fact that I'm, um, moving on Saturday, and I, uh, haven't started packing. So I sort of need to get home. I'm not sure how the reservations work, exactly, but I think they're under my name, so if you're in or near Brooklyn, feel free to go and tell them Lindsey Kuper sent you. In fact, please do.
